PRESENTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL VISUAL LITERACY ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CONFERENCE, VISUAL LITERACY IN THE VIRTUAL REALM, TO BE HELD ONLINE ON SEPTEMBER 25 AND 26TH, 2020.
Visual Messages is the first international online juried virtual/visual art exhibition presented by the International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA). It is a response to the need to continue to promote the arts during the COVID-19 pandemic and to strengthen visual literacy in the virtual realm. Visual Messages is open to 2D works, including but not limited to painting, drawing, photography, prints, collage, screen art, and related digital media. The exhibition will be publicly available on the KunstMatrix online exhibition platform, in which IVLA will feature its 3D virtual gallery space. The jurors will present a virtual tour of the exhibition during the International Visual Literacy Association’s annual conference in September 2020.
It is free to enter. Selected artists are required to register for the conference to present their works in the online exhibition. The exhibition is open to emerging as well as established artists.
