Dr. Rhonda Robinson IVLA Conference Student Scholarship

The IVLA awarded one conference scholarship in 2020! Our warmest congratulations go to GONZALO MUÑOZ-VERA who is also presenting at this year's conference.

Gonzalo Munoz is a Chilean architect and Ph.D. candidate at McGill University School of Architecture (Canada). Since 2005 he has studied the influence of images on the spread and understanding of architecture in printed media. Based in Montreal, his doctoral research deals with the increasing dominance of virtual reality and visual media in architecture. His aim has been focused on the role that panoramas from the nineteenth century have had on architectural representation as proto-virtual media of distant places. He has been Guest Lecturer in several schools of architecture (Chile) and currently teaches at McGill University and Carleton University (Canada).

The IVLA selects applicants who are enrolled at a college or university. Individual scholarships include IVLA membership for two years. One of the awards is reserved for a minority student.
